Go to a place that sells Vinyl Siding.They should have different size vinyl clad boards that are used on porches and or garage doors.Don't go to Home Depot or Lowes.Look up Vinyl Siding in your yellow pages.
Assuming it is bare metal….
Clean it and prime it with an oil primer first.
If it gets a lot of sunlight, use a rust inhibitive acrylic (latex) paint for better gloss and color retention than an oil. If it does not get heavy sunlight and rust is a higher concern, go with an alkyd (oil) topcoat over the primer.
I would use the same paint for both sides. A lot of metal paints are interior/exterior anyway.
I would worry about moisture being held against the wood and inviting in termites. Perhaps a moisture barrier would go up first, then the mesh which holds the scratch coat…..or base coat. This is uncolored.
Then the color coat goes on. Color is added with dry powder while mixing. The stucco companies carry about two dozen common colors but you can design your own special color. You'd better save the recipe and maybe even the dry powder mix least you ever need to make repairs. If you use a common color, packages of dry colored stucco is available and you can mix up your own patching material…..very handy.
Without knowing what all your stucco job would entail and contractor prices in your area, I can't speak to cost. I do know to put a new coat on an existing stucco house wasn't bad at all…still over $1,000 but not bank breaking. (yes, after 20 or so years the stucco will develop minute cracks or nicks and missing pieces so needs to be redone.)
It's really going to depend on what your house is made of, how well you remove the paint that is already there (or how well stuck it is if you're painting over), how much weather it gets, the type of paint used how meticulous you are in applying it, what the weather is the day you apply… there are a lot of factors.
Go to someone in your area who is knowledgable in paint products (sorry to offend the teens who work at Depot and Lowe's). Have them recommend an exterior paint for you.
Wait for a period of 3-5 sunny days without rain. Paint on the third day of the sunny stretch. It can't be too humid as the moisture will affect drying time. It also can't be too hot, so ask the paint specialist for the ideal temp. in your area to paint.
Prep the house well. Pressure wash it, then go back and sand any loose or flaky spots. Painting over loose paint won't stick and cause peeling.
I hope this helps you. You should expect about 5 years for your exterior, but again it could be more or less.

You only need to prime bare or new surfaces. There are a couple of specialist primers for problem surfaces. There is no primer for new plaster, the correct way is to thin the first coat out to the consistancy of milk and brush it on. No matter.
If you have an oil-based paint I imagine you must be painting over wood rather than masonry. On previously painted wood you need to key the surface wit habrasive paper, then one undercoat and one gloss or two satin coats. You can put a second gloss on as long as it is within 24-48 hours of the first. Buy good quality paint, as cheap is a false economy. Dulux or Sikken is good.
You can paint over oil-based wood paints with water based wood paints.
Interior
should be very cake like no big air bubbles and have a firm crumb (texture) moist and not dry.should also bounce back when lightly touched
Should smell sweet and wonderful
nuts or fruits should be evenly distributed not all on the bottom in one place
Exterior
should be golden brown , with a raised center that is the traditional muffin TOP. Rounded with a high center
If it has nuts or fruits they should be slightly browned NEVER black.

You would have to test it, but it sounds like the ambient temp sensor is failed. Could also be the wiring or the cluster/display depending on how yours is set up – I have no idea what year you have so I can't look it up. I know when Chevy clusters go up they tend to take out the speedo though, so I really lean towards the sensor itself.
If these are solid core doors, you might want to use stronger hinges, and three per door instead of two.
